New challenge for Word Flow users1 min read
1 year ago Microsoft announced that the word flow keyboard is coming with Windows Phone 8.1.
It was so good, that the world record was beaten by a WP user using word flow: http://www.windowscentral.com/microsoft-word-flow-keyboard-sets-world-record-16-languages, and for me it was one more reason to be proud for being a WP user. This is why I decided to create an app that would help me improve my skills and maybe even help me break the world record(this didn’t happened). So, on 17th of April, 2014, I started to work on Fast Swipe.
Fast forward until today, and you’ll see that there’s a new record established on iOS, with the Fleksy keyboard, of 17.00 seconds. I don’t know if Fleksy is better than word flow or not, but I think that we can bring the world record back on Windows. This is why I want to give a special prize of 100$ to anyone who can break it officially using Fast Swipe. Just type these 160 characters in less than 17.00 seconds and you’ll earn the money:
The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human.
The app will help you train through 3 different levels, and if you manage to beat them, you’ll unlock the world record level where you can test your typing skills. Good luck!!!
PS: Any feedback or reviews are welcomed 🙂
